Elder Garry Shelton, Pastor G as he is known was born in Memphis, Tn. to Mr and Mrs Wallace - Udell Shelton. After completing his education in Memphis he worked in several positions in logistics. On October 10th, 1992 he married the Love of his life Helen Knowles Shelton and they have 5 adult children, one deceased, and 21 Grandchildren and 7 GreatGrands.

In 1990 both Pastor and Lady Shelton gave their lives to the Lord and in 1996 Pastor Shelton accepted his call to ministry in the Church of God By Faith. While attending Breakthrough COGBF in Memphis under the leadership of Superintendent Alfonso and Lady Cleopatra Boone, Pastor Shelton was ordained Minister in 2002 and Elder in 2006.

In April 2006 Pastor Shelton and his wife were appointed to start a work in San Antonio, Tx, which is now Spirit of Life COGBF. With his wife and one member his cousin Betty Lott who moved to Tx a month later the work began. With the help of the Lord and a wonderful wife and church family, we have made great strides in the community.

The vision of The Life is to build Godly relationships and Win the lost to Christ by the Preaching and Teaching of the Gospel. This has been and will continue to be the focus. Pastor G who serves at Church Under The Bridge and Christian Assistance Ministries which help serve the Homeless community.

In 2018 Pastor Shelton was appointed by Bishop James McKnight Jr and Board
as Global Mission President. Pastor Shelton has traveled throughout the US and abroad to Georgeville, Belize in Central America and Monrovia Liberia, Africa.

In 2022 at the December National Convention Elder Shelton was appointed as Pastor of United COGBF and Superintendent of the Central Florida District. Pastor Shelton believes in God First, Family and the work of the Lord. Let the Work that I do speak for me.
